The Newsletter offers colleagues' experiences, research and ideas.
The newsletter may contain  interviews, reviews, a letter from the co-ordinator, articles, ideas, tips or an editorial. If you would like to contribute to the newsletter just contact the editor if you have something you want to share with us. The editor is Stella Smyth at sks6@le.ac.uk

The Newsletter is our main means of communication with our members. Some sample articles featured give the reader an idea of the scope and variety.

Guidelines for contributors

Content

The LMCS SIG Newsletter welcomes a range of contributions on topics relating to the interface between teaching English language and Literature, Media and Cultural Studies, such as articles, lesson plans or ideas for syllabus design, letters, book and film reviews, notices of events and competitions, conference reports.

Presentation and word length

All types of submissions should be within 2,500 words, including internal references and the bibliography. Please try to avoid footnotes and endnotes, the Harvard referencing system is easier for us to work with when doing the layout of the overall edition.

Send your submission to the editor: Stella Smyth < sks6@le.ac.uk >as an email Word attachment, using double spacing and formatted in Times New Roman Font. Please ensure that your name, email and postal address is also on the attachment. It will be assumed that your article has neither been published before nor is being considered by another publication.
