The LMCS Newsletter

The Newsletter is our main means of communication with our members. Some sample articles featured here give you an idea of the scope and variety of our publication.

The Newsletter offers colleagues' experiences, research and ideas. Each issue typically containsa letter from the co-ordinator, interviews, reviews, articles, ideas for lessons and classroom tips. If you would like to contribute to the newsletter or want to share with other members, please contact the editor at [email protected]  .

Guidelines for contributors

The LMCS SIG Newsletter welcomes a range of contributions on topics related to the interface between teaching English language and Literature, Media and Cultural Studies, such as articles, lesson plans or ideas for syllabus design, letters, book and film reviews, notices of events and competitions and conference reports.

Presentation and word length

All types of submissions should be within 2,500 words, including internal references and the reference list. Please try to avoid footnotes and endnotes. References should be provided in the Harvard referencing system .Send your submission to the editor: Alan Pulverness, at [email protected] as an email Word attachment, using double spacing and formatted in Times New Roman Font 12. Please ensure that your name, email and postal address are also on the attachment. It will be assumed that your article has neither been published before nor is being considered by another publication.
